Carrie Dunn is a sports writer.

Her recent books include 'Woman Up: Pitches, Pay and Periods - The Progress and Potential of Women's Football' (Legend, 2023), and 'Unsuitable for Females: The Rise of the Lionesses and Women's Football in England' (Birlinn, 2022), shortlisted for Football Book of the Year at the 2023 Sports Book Awards.
She is also the author of 'The Pride of the Lionesses' (Pitch, 2019), longlisted for Football Book of the Year at the Telegraph Sports Book Awards 2020, and named one of FourFourTwo’s best books of the year, and a sequel to 'The Roar of the Lionesses: Women's Football in England' (Pitch, 2016), one of the Guardian's best sport books of 2016.

She’s also an asset to a sports desk. She has covered the last three Women's World Cups for the Times and Eurosport, and has worked in-house regularly
for both – as well as the Guardian and other publishing houses. She was UEFA’s London correspondent for the postponed 2020 European Championships, liaising with tournament organisers, ambassadors and syndication partners to produce tailored content.

She uses her wealth of knowledge and her research skills in her volunteer work for Fair Game, where she leads on the women's game, Her Game Too Cymru, where she is an ambassador, and Cymru Women's Sport, where she is a member of the advisory board.
